Online Learning

What I like most about my experiences in ED 205 onlice class is that I can do the assignments when I want to and at my own pace. I also like that Sean gives use all our assignments and extra readings in a list form. I feel accomplished even after completeing one part of the assignment and I can say okay #2 is done. This also makes everything clear cut for what we need to do for the week. The powerpoint presentations are a great way to get all the important information out of the chapters and to use as study guides.
The only thing I would change which may not even be possible or beneficial to students is all the extra readings. I know the information is important so I guess it would be difficult to change. One possibility would be to summarize articles and present them in powerpoint form.
The discussion board and forum is a great way of making the online class similiar to live sessions through communication. One thing I miss are human voices in an online session and being able to ask a question face-to-face. Having immediate feedback is always nice. I would absolutely take another online class, but I wouldn’t want to take more than two at a time because sometimes it can be more time consuming than live sessions considering that you have to read everything.
